
ICC Chapter Information
Introducing the Chapter Advocacy Program. This new program is designed to assist chapters in advocating for the Code Council and its legislative initiatives. Our focus this year is the Community Building Code Administrative Grant Act which would provide competitively evaluated federal grants to local building departments to improve their code administration and enforcement capabilities. Chapter Awards Program. Each year at the annual conference, ICC recognizes chapters for their achievements and for their contributions to ICC, their profession, the industry and to communities everywhere in the name of building safety. Winning chapters will be presented with a plaque at the 2008 Annual Conference, receive a free training day or conference registration and be invited to attend Capitol Hill Day. To be considered for the ICC Chapter of the Year Award, please submit an application form to the Ohio Field Office by June 1, 2008.
2008 Chapter
Annual Report. All chapters are required
to submit an Annual Report by June 1 to be eligible
for benefits. If you have not yet submitted your report,
please do so now either online or by fax/mail to make sure you don't miss out on any important benefits!
2008 Chapter Rewards Program. Earn additional rewards for your chapter by participating in this voluntary program! Points are earned based on the activities your chapter has accomplished in the previous year. Applications for the current program period must be received by the new deadline of November 1, 2008. Chapter Leader Manual. The manual is filled with tips, addresses typical chapter issues and can assist chapter leaders with their day-to-day tasks. It helps keep chapters in touch with ICC organizational activities with links to the ICC website and contains forms that can be customized to suit each chapter’s needs. Chapter Officer Update Form. Update your
chapter officer's contact information online
or by fax/mail.
Correct contact information is important because ICC mails vital information
about chapter programs and benefits to you throughout the year. Please take
a moment to update your information so we can be sure these mailings reach
you.
Chapter Meeting Request Form. Submit a request
online or by fax/mail
to have an ICC Board Member or Executive Staff Member attend your chapter
meeting. Please provide complete information and submit your request at least 90 prior to your meeting date.
