 ICC Foundation Scholarships Are Now Available. The 2009 ICC Sponsored Scholarships for chapter members and their families are now available. To learn more about the scholarships and download an application click here. The deadline for the application process is June 30, 2009.
A New Beginning for the ICC Chapter Education Benefit Program. The annual chapter education benefit has recently been revised. Chapters who qualified for an education benefit in 2009 but have not received one can now sign up for the Chapter eTraining webinar on-line. Click here for details about this new Chapter Benefit Program.
Chapter
Annual Report. All chapters are required
to submit an Annual Report by June 1 to be eligible
for benefits. If you have not yet submitted your report,
please do so now either online or by fax/mail to make sure you don't miss out on any important benefits!
Chapter Awards Program. Each year at the annual conference, ICC recognizes chapters for their achievements and for their contributions to ICC, their profession, the industry and to communities everywhere in the name of building safety. Winning chapters will be presented with a plaque at the 2009 Annual Conference. To be considered for the ICC Chapter of the Year Award, please submit an application form to the Ohio Field Office by July 31, 2009.

Chapter Advocacy Program. This program is designed to assist chapters in advocating for the Code Council and its legislative initiatives. Our focus is the Community Building Code Administrative Grant Act which would provide competitively evaluated federal grants to local building departments to improve their code administration and enforcement capabilities. Chapter Leader Manual. The manual is filled with tips, addresses typical chapter issues and can assist chapter leaders with their day-to-day tasks. It helps keep chapters in touch with ICC organizational activities with links to the ICC website and contains forms that can be customized to suit each chapter’s needs. Correct contact information is important because ICC mails vital information
about chapter programs and benefits to you throughout the year. Please take
a moment to update your information so we can be sure these mailings reach
you.
Note: You do not need to complete this form if you are submitting your Annual Report for the year.
Chapter Meeting Request Form. Submit a request
online or by fax/mail to have an ICC Board or Executive Staff Member attend your chapter meeting. Attendance at your chapter meeting is important to us; so in order to visit as many chapters as possible, we are asking that you limit your request to one meeting per year. Please provide complete information and submit your request at least 90 prior to your meeting date.
