The Government Relations Plan is the advocacy program affecting
the interests of ICC and its members in relation to Federal,
State and Local governments and private sector organizations.
The Government Relations mission is to partner and forge strategic
alliances with entities having objectives and missions compatible
with ICC and that support the I-Codes and the developmental
process upon which these codes are based.
The GR Department is dedicated to providing assistance to
ICC members in their efforts to adopt the I-Codes in the United
States and around the world.

The State and Local program is made up of a staff of Regional Managers who
are spread throughout the country. They regularly participate
in municipal and state code adoption efforts. Regional Managers
are also available to participate in chapter meetings and
provide a point of contact for ICC members and I-Code users
who need assistance with ICC's wide range of products and
services. You are welcome to contact
State and Local staff for assistance.
I encourage you to take a look at our national
map and charts showing where the I-Codes have been adopted.
We post only the adoptions that we know about so, if your
jurisdiction is missing, please complete an I-Code
Adoption form. If you have questions or comments about
our web page, please
