- Demonstrate knowledge of the applicable California Residential Code as required by the Los Angeles Department of Building Safety (LADBS) by successfully completing the test offered by ICC.
- Possess professional liability insurance in an amount to be determined by LADBS in its implementation guidelines.
- Agree to being removed from the program at the discretion of LADBS if the architect has made material errors in compliance with the required California Residential Code, as amended by the City of Los Angeles and as set forth in LADBS' implementation guidelines.
