Residential Code & OSHA (S1) [2 Days] (Live In-Person)

This course provides the Residential Plumbing Code (8 hour) and OSHA safety training (10 hour) requirements for the Tradesman and/or Journeyman Texas plumbing exam.

• Objectives
  • Explain the general plumbing regulations in the International Residential Code.
  • Demonstrate relevant math, blueprint, and construction document reading.
  • Describe the basics of backflow prevention, system sizing, as well as boring & notching.
  • Describe the basics of recognizing, avoiding, and preventing workplace hazards.
