2024 IBC – Dead, Live and Rain Loads (Online Live)

Part 2 of this 6-part series will provide information to assist building officials during the plan review process on the proper evaluation of structural loads per the 2024 International Building Codeо (IBC®) and the IBC-referenced 2022 ASCE/SEI 7 Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures (ASCE 7-22). This presentation covers dead and live loads and methods for live load reduction. Also discussed are provisions for determining design rain loads for roofs.
