ICC Leadership Week – ICC Member Event

ICC Leadership Week begins on Saturday, April 18th
at the Connecticut Convention Center. Join fellow building safety professionals for FREE pre‑hearing events that are designed to strengthen collaboration, elevate industry knowledge and advance our shared commitment to safe, resilient communities. All members are invited.
ICC Leadership Week Events Include:

Membership Council Meetings  ▶  April 18

Membership Councils offer all Code Council members an opportunity to come together to shape their association and industry. During Leadership Week, discipline-specific Membership Councils will meet to discuss important topics in the building safety profession and provide a forum where members can learn from others in their shared field. Network with your peers and ICC leadership in preparation for the Public Comment Hearings.

Tribal Building Codes Panel  ▶  April 19

Sunday morning’s Opening Session for the Hearings will include a discussion of distinguished leaders from New England Tribal Nations who will share how each are exercising tribal sovereignty to enact and administer tribal building codes; enhance residential and commercial development; and promote community generational health and empowerment. This dynamic conversation will provide valuable insights into Tribal sovereignty, housing priorities, and code development. The session will also include a Q&A segment to foster dialogue and shared learning. The panel and Q&A will be moderated by Matthew Beaudet, Founder and President of Ádisóke Solutions, LLC, former Chicago Building Commissioner, and a Board Member of Native American Code Officials (NACO), ICC’s first Sovereign Chapter.

Public Comment Hearings for the International Codes, Groups A & B, begin at 1 pm ET on Sunday, April 19. The hearings are open to the public but require registration.
