Codes & Standards Council (CSC)

The Codes and Standards Council (CSC) was appointed to review and approve new codes and standards projects, advise the ICC Board regarding committee appointments, and review code and standard development policies and procedures. The CSC is governed by Council Policy #9.

CSC Committee members are industry experts who have extensive experience in the codes and standards development process and who have contributed to the advancement of the ICC mission. Members of this committee have endeavored to ensure the best possible safety codes for the built environment globally.

The CSC is currently seeking code officials with extensive codes and standards development experience to fill multiple vacant seats within that targeted interest category.

Thank you for your interest in applying to this committee. Volunteers are one of the most important assets of the International Code Council. Their work on the ICC Board of Directors, committees and councils is directly related to the success of ICC. It takes the time and expertise of many individuals working through the numerous ICC committees to shape the Code Council into the world-class membership organization that exists today.
