Fair Housing Act and the International Building Code to residential housing webinar

The Great Lakes ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network invites you to register for the upcoming ADA Audio Conference Webinar titled “The Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the International Building Code (IBC)”, featuring Kim Paarlberg, Senior Staff Architect in Technical Services, International Code Council (ICC) and Rex Pace, Senior Advisory for Accessible Design, U.S. Department of housing and Urban Development.

Join us for this session as the presenters discuss the application of the accessibility guidelines under the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the International Building Code (IBC) to residential housing. The presentation will cover what types of residential housing facilities/units are subject to the federal requirements and building codes. Differences and similarities between the FHA accessibility guidelines and IBC requirements will be highlighted. Following the presentation participants will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.

The webinar will be held from 2:00 – 3:30 PM EST.
