Egypt’s building codes related to steel structures are based primarily on the structural provisions of the International Building Code and referenced US-developed international standards, while concrete and masonry-related codes and standards are based on British standards and Canadian building codes. The codes themselves are not available online but more information is available online from the Housing and Building National Research Center.
