The Grenada Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Public Utilities, Energy, Transport & Implementation is responsible for enforcing the building code. Grenada is currently using the 2016 version of the CUBiC building code developed by the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
The Grenada Bureau of Standards was involved in the development of the CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC), which is based on the International Energy Conservation Code. The CREEBC is in the process of being adopted and implemented in the country.
