Haiti

The Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications is responsible for building code enforcement in Haiti. The National Building Code of Haiti and National Plumbing Code of Haiti (including plumbing supplement) are based on the International Codes.

The Haiti Bureau of Standards was involved in the development of the CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC), which is based on the International Energy Conservation Code. The CREEBC is in the process of being adopted and implemented in the country.
