Building safety in Malawi is the responsibility of the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development. No building codes are available online, but technical guidelines produced by the Ministry’s Department of Housing and Urban Development for residential construction are available from Reliefweb and regulations governing the construction industry are available from the National Construction Industry Council.
