This page serves as the central resource for appeals related to ICC Codes and Standards. It provides essential information including the Notice of Appeal, Notices of Meetings, and Appeal Board Decisions. Stakeholders can access updates on scheduled appeal hearings, review submitted appeals, and view decisions made by the ICC Appeal Board. The content is designed to ensure transparency and accessibility throughout the appeals process, supporting the integrity of ICC’s code development and standards-setting procedures.

Public Statement Regarding Appeals Board Participation
Any interested individual, or their authorized representative, is invited to respond to the appeal by submitting their views in writing to the ICC CEO using the online submittal form (see the button below).
Subject to the discretion of the Appeals Board, individuals may also be permitted to participate in the hearing and present relevant information.

Code Related Appeal Procedures (CP-01) and ICC Standards Development Procedures (CP-12C)
These submissions will be considered by the Appeals Board and must be received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled hearing.
The public will be informed of the date, time, and location of the Appeals Board hearing, typically held virtually, at least 20 days in advance of the scheduled hearing.
Individuals who wish to attend the hearing must notify the ICC CEO no later than 15 days prior to the scheduled hearing. (Use the "Request to Attend" button below.)
Standard Related Appeal Procedures (CP-12A, CP-12B)
ICC will give at least 10 working days notice to all participants of the hearing that is agreeable to the appellant.

25.02.12 | ICC Board of Directors Approves Updates to the Appeal Process
The ICC Board of Directors approved various updates to the ICC Codes and Standards Appeal Process adding clarifications on how scope and intent issues will be handled, clarifying appeals are limited to process and procedural issues only, and streamlining the process. (See the BSJ Article.)
Submission of an appeal / complaint, or submission of an ICC scope and intent question (SIQ) is through the online forms which can be found on the main Codes & Standards page.
