COVID-19 Preparedness

We are looking forward to seeing you soon for our Annual Conference and Public Comment Hearings in Pittsburgh. As we prepare to gather, we want to assure you that your safety is of primary importance to us.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the following updates to our COVID-19 safety plan.

As of right now, there are no local or state restrictions established in Pittsburgh on gatherings or events, so we plan to proceed with holding an in-person event.

We will make any adjustments necessary to adhere to all local, state and federal safety guidelines in place at the time of the event.

UPDATES

In accordance with current CDC recommendations, all attendees, regardless of vaccination status, are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Current COVID-19 protocols of our host venues, require unvaccinated guests to wear masks at all indoor events. We will have complimentary masks and hand sanitizing stations readily available.

Additionally, we will have self-administered COVID-19 testing kits available in limited supply at the convention center. They will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

As a reminder, all Code Council staff in attendance will be fully vaccinated and are required to wear masks at all indoor events. We will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19, including the Delta variant, and stand ready to implement increased safety measures if needed.

Travel safely and we look forward to seeing you in Pittsburgh.
