From the archives: Building safety in the aftermath of 9/11

In response to 9/11, the Code Council board of directors established the Code Technology Committee (CTC) to, among other things and along with its Ad Hoc Committee on Terrorism Resistant Buildings, study the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s World Trade Center Recommendations as they relate to the International Codes.
