Remote online proctoring is technology that mirrors the role of an on-site proctor by utilizing an internet-delivered assessment exam monitored by a professionally trained live proctor. PRONTO exams taken through remote proctoring are available 24/7, scheduled.

PRONTO is a technology-based testing method established by the International Code Council. ICC partners with ProctorU Platform to provide this state-of-the-art service to our exam candidates. With PRONTO, you have a choice to take an exam at one of over 550 Meazure Learnings (ProctorU Platform) Test Centers or from the comfort of your own home or office.

- Google Chromebooks (supported for G Suite Certificaiton and G Suite Administrator exams)
- Tablets (Nexus, iPad, Tab, Note, etc.)
- Linux operating systems
- Windows 10 in S mode or Surface RT
- No running inside a virtual machine. You will be asked to reconnect using your host operating system to take your exam

Pay Before You Schedule
You will be required to pay for your exam first before you can schedule if you are taking a National Certification, California, or UST/AST exam via CBT or PRONTO.
You have one year
(365 days) to schedule/reschedule your purchased exam
Exam Attempts
For national certification and UST/AST Exams, you will have six exam attempts within a six-month period. You are responsible for paying the exam fee at every attempt. Once you have attempted an exam six times, you must wait six months from the first attempt to register again. *Some state certification and UST/AST exams have specific retake requirements. Refer to the exam catalog.

You must enter your first and last LEGAL NAME exactly as it appears on the identification you will present before testing. If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your test and you will not be reimbursed for any fees paid.
Identification
You must have your government-issued photo identification ready to show the proctor (e.g. driver's license, passport). The identification must:
- have the same legal first name and last name that matches your exam record
- not be expired
- be original (no photo copies)
- have a signature
