The Code Council’s Past Presiding Officers will hold its annual fund raising event, the Ron Burton Annual Golf Outing, in conjunction with the ICC 2022 Annual Conference in Louisville. This event includes a number of sponsorship opportunities and funds raised will go towards training and resources for the next generation of code officials.
The Ron Burton Golf Outing celebrates the life and work of William Ronald “Ron” Burton. Ron, as you may know, was a renowned code expert. He worked on many code-related projects for ICC, BOMA and the NAHB.
The tournament will be a shotgun-start at 8 am on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the Heritage Hill Golf Club, 1040 Valley View Drive, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. Transportation, breakfast, lunch and beverage cart will be provided.

Rick Witt Memorial Golf Sponsorship Application
In memory of our good friend Rick Witt, the Codes & Standards Committee has committed to sponsor a golfer in the Ron Burton Golf Outing to be held on September 11, 2022 at the Heritage Hill Golf Course in Shepherdsville, KY.
To be eligible for the sponsorship, applicants must be enrolled in a high school or college technical training program, or an ICC member’s child who is currently in a trade apprenticeship program.
The sponsorship covers the cost of the outing and rental clubs if needed. Apply Here.
