2021 Permit Technician Institute (Online Live)

This Institute provides the permit technician with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform their jobs in code administration: legal aspects, code language, code enforcement, reading construction documents, performing plan reviews and the permitting and inspection process. Participants will become familiarized with the International Building Code® (IBC®) and the International Residential Code® (IRC®) and sharpen customer relations skills. This Institute is designed to familiarize and assist permit technicians in locating, describing and applying concepts from the books Basic Code Enforcement.2021 International Building Code® (IBC®), 2021 International Zoning Code® (IZC®) and Legal Aspects of Code Enforcement.
