2019 Group B Final Action & Report – Post 2019 Group B Appeals Process.
The International Code Council has processed six appeals on the 2019 Group B Final Action results which were posted on April 8, 2020. Click here for the 2019 Group B Appeals webpage. The final action results have been revised to reflect the outcome of these appeals and were published today, November 18th.

2019 Group B Final Action & Report.
The International Code Council Board of Directors certified the results of the online governmental consensus vote for the 2019 Group B cycle. Accordingly, the final action results were published today, April 8. The board reviewed the findings from an independent Validation Committee before making its decision. The Validation Committee determined that there was a valid voting process with no irregularities or concerns material to the outcome. As part of the validation process, staff did a thorough review of voters and found that all, with two exceptions, were validated on time and according to the bylaws. Code Council staff prepared a comprehensive report on the 2019 Group B cycle.
Preliminary 2019 Group B Online Governmental Consensus Vote Results Available.
The 2019 Group B Online Governmental Consensus Vote was conducted November 19th through December 6th and the preliminary results are available. These results contain only the preliminary action on the Group B changes. These results are not final as they are subject to certification by the Validation Committee and confirmation by the ICC Board in accordance with Section 10.1 of CP 28 Code Development. The 2019 Group B Final Action results, including vote tallies from both the Public Comment Hearing and OGCV, will be posted following certification in accordance with Section 10.4 of CP 28.

2019 Group B Public Comment Submittal Now Open
The public comment period for the 2019 Group B International Codes is open through cdpACCESS. Go to cdpACCESS.com. The public comment period closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 24th.
2019 Group B Assembly Motion Ballot Now Open
Online voting through cdpACCESS is open on 4 assembly floor motions from the 2019 Group B Committee Action Hearings. The Online Assembly Motion Vote will continue through 11:59pm Pacific Thursday, June 6th. The results of the online vote will be included in the Report of the Committee Action Hearing that is scheduled to be available June 11th.
